Now for any business, a blog is a great way to connect with your audience and to help them to engage with your business. The added benefit is that it is also great for SEO and building your online reputation. According to the Content Marketing Institute, 76% of marketers say that a blog is a vital part of their strategy.
My Sassy Business has been producing a weekly blog for a very long time. If you are a subscriber you will know that it is consistently delivered week in week out. That said, it is a lot of work but it is vital to my success as a business.

Blogging doesn’t have to cost you much at all. If you write the blogs yourself and publish them to your existing website and email them to your database, it only costs time. Don’t worry if you are not the best writer in the world, over time you will improve and you can always outsource to someone else.
Remember, you can outsource the writing, publishing, emailing, sharing to social media and more if you are too busy or you are not interested in doing it yourself. It is going to cost you money, but if these things are done well you will generate business. Therefore the cost of blogging must be accounted for just like any other marketing activity and budgeted accordingly.
